In the June 1880 Saline County, Illinois he was listed as Step-son. Head of house : John Blackburn age 45 Wife: Mahala age 40 (she was born in 1838) Marriage records show John Blackburn married Mrs. Gillia M. Tanner on 3-10-1975 in Saline Children/age in 1880 how listed Daughter(can't read name Blackburn 4 daughter George Blackburn 3/12 son Martha Tanner 12 Step-daughter Susan Tanner 15 Step-daughter James Tanner 17 Step-son Howell Tanner 8 Step-son Joseph Tanner 6 Step-son In June 1900 Census We have listed G. M. Blackburn listed as such G. M. Blackburn Born in Tennesse in 1838 as Female head of house in the house were Joe Tanner Son born 1874 in Illinois Otis Milburn G-son born in 1894 in Illinois In this same census we can find Howell Tanner born 1871 In Illinois - Father from Illinois and Mother from Tennesse Lucy Tanner Wife born in Indiana in 1873 with both parents from Indiana also Leeroy Tanner Son Born in 1894 in Illinois | |||||||||||||||||||

Here are a couple of pictures I have had sent to me. The first is Howell and Lucy with their dog Bozie, that looks to be taken in their 80's or better. The second is one with Lucy's family. I have included names to help ID the people as they were given to me. It looks to be possibly taken in or around 1896/1897 due to the estimated age of Lee Roy.
